World of Beer has over 50 craft beers on tap, 500 in the cooler and a menu of tasty tavern fare that’s crafted to go perfectly with beer.  WOB has over 70 franchised and corporate owned locations.


World of Beer (WOB) initially brought Front Burner Brands (FBB) on board to manage a migration from Sysco as their foodservice distributor. There was dissatisfaction with the service levels and attentiveness that Sysco was providing to them. Front Burner Brands executed a change to a set of distributors that Front Burner Brands uses through a marketing organization known as Distribution Market Advantage (DMA).

DMA normally would not have considered taking on WOB’s business as a result of their limited unit count and food spend at that time. They did so based on the relationship they had with FBB. In this way, partnering with FBB provided the synergy WOB needed to become aligned with an effective distribution partner.

The results of providing this changeover to WOB, provided $170k in annual savings via purchasing management and decreased time to purchase for all items.
